2nd & 4th Saturdays

4th Wednesdays

Gates open @ 8:30 a.m.

Mandatory safety meeting

@ 9:30 a.m.

Shootin' starts @ 10:00 a.m.

Our stages are covered which allows us to shoot year round. Typically, only below-freezing temperatures and ice or snow on the road to the range will cause a match to be cancelled.

Summer's Over

Oh those famous dying words of John Wayne in "The Cowboys", "summers over". The month of September is close to half over and I find that I'm just now sitting down to write this months ramblings. What the heck happened to August and September? Is it just me or are the days going faster?

We are a SASS affiliated club and proud of it! We shoot the 2nd & 4th Saturdays and 4th Wednesdays of each month in Lenexa, Kansas (formerly the historic Monticello Township) where a young James B. "Wild Bill" Hickok was our first town marshal. C'mon out and relive the exciting days of the Frontier West by strapping on a pair of six-guns at Hodgdon's Powder Creek range with the Powder Creek Cowboys.
