The 2010 Prince of Pistoleers is a wrap. Mother nature "showered" us with all her glory on Saturday and threatened worse on Sunday, regrettably forcing a decision to cancel Sunday's shooting in the interest of safety.
The theme of this year's match was the movie "Lonesome Dove". If you remember the scene where Gus and Pea were huddled in a hollowed out creek bank during a raging, gully washer of a storm, well, it was a lot like that. It must be said that the shooters at this match were every bit as tough as Gus and Pea and fired through the downpour.
It was a privilege and a pleasure to host this event and the Powder Creek Cowboys sincerely thank everyone who attended. We hope you had a good time and will join us again next year!

August is finally gone and we can look to the cooler days of fall, just around the corner. With fall comes all of those great local CAS shoots to attend. T-Town, The Kansas State Match, Boarder Wars, The Missouri State Match, all lie ahead of us before the snow starts to fly. It's been a great year for the Powder Creek Cowboys and all the success we have celebrated at our range.
